Pottery

(Ages 5–12)

Let your child explore the magic of clay in a peaceful, nature-inspired setting. Our Pottery Classes invite children to shape, sculpt, and create with their hands—while connecting with the earth and their own creativity.

Classes are held in our cozy indoor studio, with opportunities to move into our outdoor classroom when the weather allows. Kids will explore both hand-building techniques and get hands-on experience with a real pottery wheel—learning to center, shape, and form clay into beautiful, functional pieces.

How Our Programs Inspire Growth

Fine Motor Skills

  • Manipulating clay—rolling, pinching, smoothing, shaping—develops the small muscles in the hands and fingers, improving coordination and control.

Enhances Focus & Attention

  • Pottery requires kids to concentrate on what their hands are doing in real-time. This focus supports mindfulness and can help children slow down and stay present.

Sparks Creativity & Imagination

  • Clay is endlessly moldable. Kids can sculpt animals, dishes, characters, or abstract forms—allowing total freedom of expression.

Encourages Patience & Emotional Regulation

  • Working with clay is a process: from forming and drying to glazing and firing. Kids learn that good things take time, helping them develop patience and resilience.

  • Sculpting in 3D helps children understand shape, size, depth, and proportion. Planning how parts will fit together encourages problem-solving and design thinking.

Pricing & Schedule

Class Schedule

We offer weekly 1-hour pottery sessions divided by age group:

Tuesdays from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Pricing

All materials are included—children will receive high-quality, age-appropriate supplies for each project.

Classes are kept small (maximum of 12 children) to ensure focused instruction and a relaxed, creative experience.

Once we receive your completed form, we’ll confirm your spot and provide all the details you need to get started. Spaces are limited to 12 children per class, so early registration is encouraged!
